This is a blog designed to chronicle the perspectives and opinions of a middle-aged African-American male living in an upper class suburb outside a major East Coast US city.  A person that presumably did the “right things” – went to college, obtained a Master’s degree, was able to acquire and maintain a highly compensated IT career.  Married an accomplished physician and business owner.  Helping to raise two energetic, sometimes cherubic, sometimes hard-headed but otherwise intelligent African-American boys. After a life changing event – the departure from a toxic corporate environment without any new prospects at the time, he has decided to live out one of his life’s passions – writing.
